What is Nyan Piece?
Nyan Piece is a One Piece fan project all about OP characters as cats or with cats! Love OP and love cats? Then Nyan Piece is for you!Will this be a zine?
Yes! There will be a small companion zine with this project nya!How old must one be to participate?
16 and up!Will this be for profit?
This project will be split between profit and charity! We are currently deciding on which cat focused charity.What kind of merch?
We are hoping for a fun and wide variety from the more typical prints and pins to manjus and perhaps even a cat toy!Is shipping allowed?
We are avoiding romantic ships in this project, but if you want to draw cats cuddling platonically, who are we to say no to that? :3How many contributors are you accepting?

Guidelines

Writers:Our Writers will be required to do one max 1000 word story in collaboration with an artist! Collaboration writer-artist pairings will be determined after contributors are accepted into the project. The type of stories we're looking for could star One Piece characters as cats, OP characters who are cats or cat adjacent (Nekomamushi, Lucci, Who's Who, etc.), characters turned into cats, cats being adopted, and more!Requirements:Please provide 3-5 samples max 1500 words, excerpts are okay, but at least ONE sample must be a complete story. We would love to see One Piece or cat themed stories, but it is not required.Artists:Our Artists will be required to do one
5" x 7" page art and one 2" x 2" small spot art in collaboration with an writer! There is also an option to create optional digital merch. Collaboration writer-artist pairings will be determined after contributors are accepted into the project.Requirements:We ask that applicants please provide 3-5 art samples, with at least one full background. We would love to see One Piece or cat themed stories, but it is not required.Merch Artists:Our Merch Artists will be required to do 2 physical pieces with an option to create a third as either digital merch or a Stretch Goal item. The specific items will be discussed once accepted into the project.Requirements:We ask that applicants please provide 3 samples of either completed mockups of merch designs OR completed and manufactured (either homemade or by a company) merch pieces. We would love to see One Piece or cat themed stories, but it is not required.
